In partnership with sponsors, local partners, and volunteers, our \u201cVision For The Poor\u201d program has provided free eye surgery to thousands of cataract patients throughout Vietnam. In 2015, 699 cataract patients benefited from the program. In April 2016, VNHelp partnered with the charity organization (Nho\u0301m Thi\u00ea\u0323<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">n Nguy\u00ea\u0323n) S\u01a1n Nam, the David &amp; Dana Loury Foundation, and the Desletrez Tran &amp; Friends group, to help 158 cataract patients regain their vision. These patients came from several of Vietnam\u2019s southern provinces including \u0110\u1ed3ng Th\u00e1p, C\u00e0 Mau, An Giang, Long An, V\u0129nh Long, B\u1ea1c Li\u00eau, B\u00ecnh D\u01b0\u01a1ng, B\u00ecnh Ph\u01b0\u1edbc, \u0110\u1ed3ng Nai, T\u00e2y Ninh, and An Giang. VNHelp arranged and provided for the cataract surgery, lunch, and transportation, all at no cost to the patients.
