Ngọc Anh, a native of Hanoi, is a celebrated Vietnamese singer known for her versatile vocal talents and expressive, passionate performances. She first rose to national prominence in the 1990s as a member of the pop trio 3A, alongside Minh Anh and Minh Ánh. After the trio disbanded in 1998, Ngọc Anh embarked on a successful solo career, releasing popular albums such as “Và Cũng Như Yêu” with Ngọc Sơn and “Trái Tim Hoang Đường” with Minh Thuận. Her collaborations with the renowned composer Phú Quang further cemented her status in the Vietnamese music scene, with albums like “Gửi Một Tình Yêu” and “69’59” showcasing her deep emotional connection to her music.
The first time that Ngọc Anh sang in the USA, it was at the Mùa Thu Cho Em 2006 concert. In 2008, she relocated to the United States, where she became a regular performer on the “Paris By Night” series produced by Thúy Nga. Ngọc Anh would return to MTCE in 2009, 2010, 2017, and 2018. Her performances, including notable songs like “Giết Người Trong Mộng” and “Bài Không Tên Cuối Cùng,” have been well-received by audiences worldwide. Beyond her singing career, Ngọc Anh is also an accomplished songwriter, having penned hits such as “Hãy Yêu Khi Ta Còn Bên Nhau” and “Samba Cho Em.” Her musical journey has taken her to stages across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia, making her a beloved figure in the Vietnamese diaspora.
