Prior to founding Vita Imaging, Thinh was the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of V-Silicon, a successful joint venture specializing in cutting-edge System-on-a-Chip (SoC) solutions for digital television and set-top box technologies.

Thinh’s entrepreneurial journey began in 1982 with the founding of Sigma Designs, Inc., where he served as Founder, Chairman, and CEO. Under his leadership, Sigma Designs grew from a small startup into a multi-billion-dollar publicly traded company on NASDAQ. He became one of the longest-serving CEOs in the exchange’s history. His tenure was marked by groundbreaking advancements in video and audio processing technologies within the semiconductor industry.

Thinh holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E.) from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (M.S.E.E.) from Stanford University.
