They will be on October 5th in Santa Clara and October 12th in Fountain Valley. <a href=\"https:\/\/vnhelp.org\/vi\/mtce2013\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">See the concert page on our website for more details.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Performers for the night include:<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">M\u1ef9 Linh<\/h3>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<h4><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1397\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vnhelp.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/My-Linh2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/h4>\n<\/td>\n<td>Blessed with a precise yet rich and emotional voice, M\u1ef9 Linh has been singing professionally since she was sixteen years old. Her musical talents were recognized when she was still just a little girl performing at various children\u2019s music contests. Since then, she has gone on to win numerous prizes domestically and internationally, the most noted being \u201cThe Golden Voice of Asia Award\u201d in 1999. In 2006, she became the only Vietnamese artist to sing at Asian Divas night in Nagoya, Japan.<\/p>\n<p>A masterful stylist, her elegant and accessible music blends funk, soul, R&amp;B and jazz. M\u1ef9 Linh\u2019s music is firmly entrenched in Vietnamese culture while remaining open to international influence. M\u1ef9 Linh made her debut in America on the VNHELP stage in 2002, came back to perform for VNHELP for a second time in 2011, and is back again by popular demand this year.<\/p>\n<p><em>*M\u1ef9 Linh will only be appearing in the Northern California show this year.<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">B\u1eb1ng Ki\u1ec1u<\/h3>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1396\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vnhelp.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Bang-Kieu2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/td>\n<td>B\u1eb1ng Ki\u1ec1u was born into a musical family with the love of performance arts running through his veins. He began playing music when he was a child and took up studying the Bassoon at the Hanoi Conservatory of Music in 1989, but eventually switched to becoming a vocalist after realizing his passion for singing.<\/p>\n<p>B\u1eb1ng Ki\u1ec1u has produced a number of popular songs, including <em>Neu \u00d0ieu \u00d0o Xay Ra<\/em>, <em>Trai Tim Khong Ngu Yen<\/em>, <em>Mua Tren Ngay Thang Do<\/em>. With his eloquent voice, stage charm and many talents, B\u1eb1ng Ki\u1ec1u always makes his stage appearances exciting and full of delightful surprises. Bang Kieu sang for M\u00f9a Thu Cho Em in 2004, 2010 and 2011, and requests from our audience has brought him back for the fourth year.<\/p>\n<p><em>*B\u1eb1ng Ki\u1ec1u will only be appearing in the Southern California show this year.<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Tr\u1ea7n Thu H\u00e0<\/h3>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1400\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vnhelp.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Tran-Thu-Ha.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/td>\n<td>Tr\u1ea7n Thu H\u00e0 is known as a vocalist with a colorful and eclectic performing style, singing with ease in everything from electronica and alternative rock to pop and indie.<\/p>\n<p>At the age of 10, Thu H\u00e0 joined the H\u00e0 N\u1ed9i School of Art and then studied Vocal Music at the H\u00e0 N\u1ed9i Conservatory of Music. Her music has been well-received and recognized with a number of prestigious awards. In 2000, Thu H\u00e0 was voted favorite singer at the Golden Orchid Awards, and she has been consistently voted among the top ten singers in Vietnam by music critics and audiences since 1998. Tr\u1ea7n Thu H\u00e0 joins M\u00f9a Thu Cho Em for a third time this year after making her debut in America on the VNHELP stage in 2002 (with My Linh) and appearing in M\u00f9a Thu Cho Em 2007.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Quang Tu\u1ea5n<\/h3>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1398\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vnhelp.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Quang-Tuan.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/td>\n<td>Quang Tu\u1ea5n grew up in Da Lat, Viet Nam and is a popular singer among the Vietnamese overseas community. He began studying modern and classical guitar at the age of 13, but never considered himself a singer. Then the support he received from audiences for his sweet and melodic voice encouraged him to pursue singing as a professional career.<\/p>\n<p>Quang Tu\u1ea5n studied music performance at Golden West College. In 1992, Quang Tu\u1ea5n took first place \u201cGolden Voice,\u201d a singing contest organized by renowned musician Duy Kh\u00e1nh. Quang Tu\u1ea5n has released 4 albums, which includes<em> G\u1eedi ng\u01b0\u1eddi em g\u00e1i<\/em> (2000), <em>Huy\u1ec1n<\/em> (2001), <em>10 ca kh\u00fac Thanh Trang<\/em> (2002) and <em>C\u00e1nh Hoa Duy\u00ean Ki\u1ebfp<\/em> (2004). All of these albums have been highly successful and appreciated by both Vietnamese and overseas communities. Quang Tu\u1ea5n\u2019s especially admired by his fans for singing \u201cNh\u1ea1c Ti\u1ec1n Chi\u1ebfn\u201d (beautiful classic songs written before 1954)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Teresa Mai<\/h3>\n<table>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1399\" src=\"http:\/\/www.vnhelp.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Teresa-Mai.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/td>\n<td>A native of California, Teresa Mai is a second generation Vietnamese American soprano singer. Mai earned her Bachelor of Music degree from California State University of Long Beach where she performed with the Opera Institute. She later went on to earn a Master of Music degree at The Boston Conservatory of Music in Voice Performance and spent time studying and singing in Los Angeles, Austria, and Italy.<\/p>\n<p>As a soprano, Teresa has performed in a number of starring roles, including Adele in <em>Die Fledermaus<\/em>, Despina in <em>Cosi Fan Tutte<\/em>, Euridice in<em> L\u2019Orfeo<\/em> and Sophie in <em>Der Rosenkavalier<\/em>. In 2011, Mai made her debut with Harmonia Opera at the Merkin Concert Hall in New York in the role of Nyobo in the Japanese opera <em>A Story of Three Women<\/em> by Sadao Bekku.
